  1. IMPORTANT

As the success of a child in his studies depends a great deal on the close co-operation and efforts of teachers, parents and the child himself, we seek the co-operation of parents in the following manners:

15.1        Daily attendance in school

Parents must ensure that your child comes to school every school day.  If your child is sick or unable to attend school for any specific reason, a sick certificate or letter explaining the absence must be submitted to the Class Teacher.  Parents must be strict in ensuring the attendance of your child at school.  Frequent and unnecessary absenteeism will lead to laziness, truancy and low achievement in studies and examinations.

15.2        Daily revision and study

Parents must supervise and ensure that your child spends between 2 – 3 hours each day outside school hours doing his revision, studies, homework etc.  The recommended times for studying is from 7.00 to 10.30 at night.  During these times students must not be allowed to watch television, play computer games or go out except during week-ends.  Parents must ensure that homework given is completed.

15.3        If you require any further information or advice please feel free to contact us. (Telephone No. : 082–414575).  We shall do our best to assist you.  With your kind co-operation, understanding and support we hope that we will be able to assist you better in educating your child.  Thank you.
